Custom kraft/BOPP laminates for private label

This major ice cream manufacturer manages a vast portfolio, producing both their own brands and numerous Private Label lines for retail chains. This creates a highly fragmented demand for packaging aesthetics:

• Material Diversity: Different clients require distinctly different looks—from natural "Craft" paper for organic lines to standard glossy films—making it hard to consolidate orders.
• Process Inefficiency: Producing these unique, custom-laminated structures for smaller private label batches typically required expensive offline processing, driving up costs.

The challenge was to find a flexible manufacturing method that could deliver this wide variety of premium, barrier-coated packaging in a cost-effective way.

We engineered a specialized inline printing & lamination ecosystem. This allows us to print custom Kraft paper and bond the BOPP barrier in a continuous, single-pass operation. By eliminating the need for offline processing and intermediate logistics, we significantly reduced the manufacturing overhead, making premium composite packaging accessible for cost-sensitive private label contracts.

• Smart process: "Inline" manufacturing eliminates intermediate steps (printing then moving to a separate laminator), delivering exclusive-looking packaging at a competitive price point.
